Next Control Systems thru its US subsidiary, Next Control Systems LLC has been awarded a long term contract to provide its Tutela web based temperature monitoring/alarm notification and electronic recording service for Jupiter Medical Center in Florida.  This contract comes on the heels of recent wins in US   blood research, bio pharmaceutical and tissue / organ facilities.

Jupiter Medical Center (JMC) is a 283-bed community hospital and is rated among the top five per cent of American hospitals for overall stroke and pulmonary care.

With nearly 500 physicians amongst 1,500 employees, the not-for-profit hospital detailed requirements to monitor temperature and humidity levels in its operating rooms, medical laboratories and blood bank and selected Tutela.

Next UK engineers and an American team worked together in Florida to install, commission, and validate the system per strict US (FDA) regulatory and compliance standards.

Now in real time, 54 sensors in the hospital are monitored around the clock   at Next’s Monitoring Bureau in Farnborough where the company will electronically store records of the conditions under which blood, pharmaceuticals, tissue samples, medicine and other materials are kept for the requisite thirty years.  JMC is now planning to expand the service thru other areas of the facility.
